It came!  :mail:

Smooth as silk dealing with Mr. K.  My SideClip came today along with a very nasty/neat looking folding blade, which was a complete but welcomed surprise. :)

That's a nice knife! I feel like I should be parachuting into enemy territory every time I hold it.

Going with the "one thread per forumer" idea that DaveK made, I shall hijack this thread for my feedback.

Sideclip arrived much faster than any tool I've bought. 5 days from England! It's the first time I've gotten something from England though, so perhaps it's the norm. Commonwealth advantages? :P

Anyway, thanks DaveK! Sideclip is pretty. I'm just curious, isn't the box a little excessive? I mean, it has a section on the side where I assume the Sideclip sits and the rest of the box is just empty space? Talk about inefficient eh?

It was a really cheapy knife, but it's a bit unusual and fun to cut yourself play with :)

I have in fact commented on that before, and discussed it at length with the woman in the Post Office. Yes it's daft, and contains about 80% air! The only reasoning I can come up with for it, might be to do with visibility on the shop shelves. I recall from my days working in a cardboard box factory that companies will spend excessively on packaging so that their product "stands out" whilst on the shelf next to a competitors product. I'm sure some marketing type would have the proper term for it!
I used to come here a lot.
