Is the recoil auto pliers any good?

The Recoil is...interesting. It's more of a gimmick than the regular multipliers but it is functional and wouldn't be the worst choice in the world. Be aware that it is actually as thick as the Core and is fairly heavy. There's at least one review in the review forum if you want to take a peek.

And no, $75 is not a good price.

I think unless you like oddballs(I LOVE oddies ) there are better. So much of the tool is taken up with the spring mechanism , besides the 'wow factor' of spring LAUNCHED pliers the MT lacks a lot in the tool selection department.You should be able to get a good-un for under $50us.
