Well this is a nice surprise Who would have thought taking a step backwards would bring Leatherman so much more forward I'm glad it doesn't contain plastic I'm glad it doesn't have a stupid built in bit holder that takes up too much room and isn't funny when you drop the bits in the dark etc.I'm glad its got the old style nurled screws I'm glad its got no silly gimmicks and most of all I'm glad Leatherman listened to its customers Grant I think your right when you said its going to be THE Multitool of the year ( so far ) I wonder if they will try and re-create the old style sheath . I hope they don't put the release date back like hey did with the Skeletool Dunc
Will the Core be retired?Dave
Need a special run that has MULTITOOL.ORG on the side

Ok now that I have calmed down a bit I think I might have found a replacement for my SuperTool That tool is awesome everything that I love about the SuperTool with all the improvements of the Core Talk about designing something great I am definitely excited about this tool I may have to pre-order 1 of these myself and I never do that I just hope that sheath is worthy of the tool

Remember that is just MSRP, I'm certain the Amazon price will be lower. Alright, Leatherman you listened to us on this one, and you see how excited we are, so where is my wire stripping Juice?
A minor question...but I wonder if these will be date coded? And a downside I've seen so far; the BO version has crimpers...and I don't want crimpers...I just want a BO ST 300!.I'd also like to see some pics of this thing next to a standard Supertool just to estimate the dimensions. Hopefully it will fit in the old ST sheath if they decide to issue garbage sheaths with this.
