Its a Grip with custom scales.

My favorite keychain started stabbing me too much so I was remaking the cable and there is no other way to work with these cables than the Knipex for me!

no, it0s not common to be searched and stopped in this country, I've fortunately had little to no trouble with the law in all my life living here, nor do I expect to have any! But it wouldn't be the same emptying your pockets and showing a SAK to an officer, than pulling out a "Broken Skull" or "Tiger Claw Karambit"  :D
