Bund German Navy Knife - Every good U Boat Captain needs one. I don't into the 'Good' category, but I am Captain so hard cheese,

This knife is huuuuuge - very well made and nicely finished. The blade is twice as thick as a Wenger Standard Issue at the spine, quite a bit longer too. The scales are a dark blue cellidor type material, the thick liners are brass. Lovely big bail on it and the monstrous marlin spike locks.

A big Thank You to Nix for ordering it on my behalf  :salute:

:like:   Been wanting one of those for ages. Problem is they aren't cheap, and the 1.4116 steel is a bit low end for such an expensive blade. Old ones were carbon steel, but they aren't cheap either.

Yup, I agree 100%. I was lucky enough to find a brand new old one (7593)...I think the 7593 was dubbed the "Bartender," on account of the corkscrew.

I opted for 'big and burly' today.  My Buck-TOPs CSAR-T with G10 'Rocky-Mountain tread', answered the call.

I tend to rotate knives off-the-roster, as the seasons change.  This Kit Carson Columbia River, inspired flipper got penciled-in for today's action.  A combo spear-point blade, that's very quick to deploy.
