Sorry Dan- my brother's family came up from Toronto on the weekend and I forgot about everything else while playing with my nephews and kayaking with my father and brother- the first time all three of us have been out together I might add!

As for the glass, I assume it was confiscated at Pearson!

Well we need to differentiate then... you can be Dan01 and Dan can be Dan02.... or you can be US Dan and Dan can be Canada Dan (Danada?).... or.... never mind... :P

It was actually a little awkward when I wrote it as my two nephews are Dave and Dan, and we have no shortage of Daves or Dan's around here!   :D

I had a great trip- I got out on the ATV's twice, spent a fair bit of time in the kayak (which is great because with the move and all, my boat at home hasn't even gotten wet this year!), and had great weather every day except one, which I certainly won't complain about.  I also got to take my parent's new pontoon boat out for a spin, which was a lot of fun.  That's what I was doing when I got that photo that Whoey posted.  It was kind of funny to find a regional Spanish flag like that flying in the backwoods of northern Ontario, and if it hadn't been for the forum crashing and Whoey re-installing the flag component, complete with extra flags, I'd have never known what flag that was!

This is the "Party Boat" as it's more commonly called!

I saw a fair bit of wildlife as well, although I didn't get photos of most of it.  Here's one of the hundreds of cormorants we saw:

Then there were the geese- and there were a lot of them!

After they performed their air show for me (excellent formation flying, don't you think? :D ) I got a decent shot of them coming in to land:

There was also a bear sniffing around outside my window one night, but I didn't get a shot of him as I felt the flash might disturb him... and disturbing large powerful critters well known for bad tempers seems like a bad idea.  If you don't believe me, ask anyone who took a picture of Sean Penn in the 80's!  :P

Actually, there were some celebrities on my flight home.  I doubt many of you will recognize these guys, but I know a few of you certainly will!

I had a fantastic time, and I'll get more pics up soon.

Yup, that's them, in the flesh!

I warn anyone who looks them up online after seeing this- their show is NOT family or work friendly, unless you live in a trailer park in which case it's just another day... :D

Wow, "Bubbles" looks so different without his glasses.  I've always wondered what he looks like without those glasses.  These guys like to stay in character so I'm guessing photos of Mike Smith without his famous glasses is very rare.

Was Conky there too?  ;)

Bubbles is actually pretty famous on his own, outside of the Trailer Park Boys.  he's an accomplished musician who has written the musical scores for a few Hollywood films, including The Weight Of Water with Sean Penn and Elizabeth Hurley.  He also owns a club in downtown Halifax called Bubbles' Mansion- A Fine Eatery and Drinkery.

No sign of Conky- I'm sure Julian and Ricky made sure he went in the checked luggage!
