Is Cybertool 34 a good choice?
on: May 22, 2009, 08:05:50 PM
I about to close a deal on a Cybertool 34, and want to hear your opinion on it..
Until now my quest for tools has been targeted on MT's, so I'm curious about
this whole "different world"...  :D
Please share some insights...

Have one, did a (German) review http://forum.odoo.tv/showthread.php?t=1196&highlight=cybertool there. I like it, pliers too small for EDC (great for PC work), a little on the heavy side. small but great tool.

It's a very fine sak, especially if you find yourself working with electronics :)

CT29 is a good size, CT34 is a good compromise of tools against size.  Any bigger and you'd best keep it in your bag.

Here's one of my variations on the CT theme...

Its not perfect and if I build another there will be changes but its still my favourite tool for computer work and sees a fair bit of carry.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I love the Cybertool34. I'd place in my "Top 5" of SAKs. It's amazing for computer work.

My primary workday MT is a modded CT 41.  I swapped to timekeeper scales.  It is an awesome tool.  Too big for pocket carry, but I use a belt sheath and it's not a problem.  The bit driver is the schitzit.

Just got The 41, amazon has $10 off $50 promo for select Vic knifes. Also picked up a Black oxide Spirit, also apart of the promo. Good deal for 2 great products.

41 is about 1/4" wider than champion plus, too big for your pocket, definently needs a sheath.

Felinevet sent me a 125 anniversary CyberTool 34 as a partial payment for those last few First Mates I sent him for you guys.

Dadgum thing is as wide as the pre-1987 Champion I EDC.  Since it is a collectable, I won't have to worry about carrying it.  It is NICE.  However, 34 or 41, I would use a sheath for it.  Too big for pocket carry.

i have the 34 and the 34 lite. i prefer the lite because of the led light. it comes in handy when working inside a pc. the magnifying glass is a handy tool as well. in my opinion the cybertool is the best victorinox sak yet. :climber:
oh, and it fits PERFECTLY in a LM Charge sheath. :tu:
