Leatherman Rev Thoughts/Some Info

Hey all, I've done this in the past with a few other major retailers but I wanted to let you all know that Lowe's is selling Leatherman Rev for $25 even right now. I've seen it at 3 of them on the East coast, and picked one up today.

I know a lot of you have held back from trying out the Rev because of the similarity in price to the Wingman/Sidekick without any very significant benefits besides weight. I wear regular gym shorts quite a lot to class and around. I very rarely wear work pants or cargos these days as I'm in between jobs as graduation approaches. If I can add anything significant about the Rev, it's the only LM I've ever felt comfortable wearing on my waistband on a pair of gym shorts other than a plain old skeletool. Wingman/sidekick are very uncomfortable.

Post here if you find the Rev for $25 at Lowe's in your area, so others know.

I found them at a Store here in Dallas off Forrest Lane. I started stashing away my wife's change to get this. I am at $6 and change now

I got one for free but I returned it for cash.

It seems that it's posted on their online site at that price, so it should be available everywhere, or can be delivered to the store nearest to you. Strangely, it's not listed as 'rev' but something like 'Leatherman 13 piece hand tool'

They have them here at Lowes and Basspro

Glad to see another Gym Shorts guy!! The weight doesn't bother me as bad.....I carry the wave pocket clipped.

Yep yep, marked as such in store as well. Though most of their stuff is like that for multis/knives. PowerLocks are something like "SOG assorted multi-function tool"

I Work for Lowe's in San Antonio.  We have a bunch of them for 25 bucks.
