Well then what can I say about a SAK that's been around awhile! well actually plenty  :D

First of all feast your star gazers on these nice polished "sapphire" scales, jealous yet? well you should be they're beautiful IMO even the camera went "WOW".

Size is everything comparison picture a sog cross cut and a AA battery, the thing is I have heard "oh the CT 41 is too big" well let me tell you now it's not and IMHO it's the almost perfect "more on that later" size and SAK.

The driver bits well I have heard that they are brittle maybe they are!but if you use the correct bit "and I do mean the correct bit" I think they will stand up pretty well for every day usage, you can use it at almost any angle say from 45 to 180 degree and maybe lower at a push.

The scissors? well I can safely say my sog cross cut is now on my wife key ring,as I'm very happy with the CT scissors, maybe not as well made as the sogs but! they cut just as well and I save on carrying extra tools  :D

Lets move on to what tools you get with the CT 41 well as they say pictures speak a thousand words  :tu: I think this is all of them but! please let me know if I've missed one or two out  :salute:

Now the best bit "THE HOOK" I left till last as I wanted to give a proper JMO of it,well lets see what it can be used for,

1.fishing for wires in walls or just hooking a wire in a CU works a treat IMO

2.Can ring puller

3.Getting those laces pulled tight on walking boots.

4.In an emergency the tip can break glass, you have to think about that for a moment then it will become clear I hope  :ahhh

5.tie a length of para cord to the split ring and you can fish for something lost down a drain or pond.only if you can see the object tho

6.My fav "BTW this list can be added with imagination I'm sure" use as a compliance tool  :police: well try it hooked up your nose and tell me no!  :D

oh and also think for a moment the tip on the hook used as a non lethal kubaton  :tu:

So how can I conclude  on this CT 41   I know I said earlier it was almost perfect, well I was wrong it is perfect for me and IMHO the best all rounder out there  :salute:

Please if you need any more let me knbow  :tu:

I personally think it is a tad on the large size but that really is just me.  After all its about the size of a Champ and how many people edc one of those.

That's the nice thing about SAKs, there's a configuration for everyone :climber:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

The Compact is a great model (especially when you get Neil to stick a saw in one :D) so yeah, I'd go for it mate :)

As for the lanyard attachment I'm not so sure, as it's a bit small, but anuthing's better than nothing :)

Good review there mate, seems you're very happy with your new toy :D

I like the idea of one too actually, just for the gadgetness of them  :climber:

I'm definitely putting a hook on my next mod, but it has to be with the file; little less useful for me without really. Did I see a mod for hooks somewhere in the forums mists?

Completely agree with the review.  The only way to improve a CT41 is to swap on Timekeeper scales.  (That's what I did  ;)).  My CT41 is my workday EDC.  I think it's close to perfection too.

You forgot a hook use!

You can put the pen in its slot and close the hook on the pen, closing it in place and giving the pen a bigger handle.
