Amazing shots. I admire you. I tried to take some shots of birds for my wife and found that it was almost impossible.

A few pine siskins (with the yellow on the wings--top left) and common redpolls at a feeder last winter. Funny thing is, these pics were taken WITHOUT zooming in. Yes, I was actually standing THAT close to them. Siskins and redpolls are ridiculously tame, and will not fly away if you don't make any sudden moves. A couple even landed on me while I was taking these pics.

That's a serious bit of kit!

The pics are fab though, so I understand why you would want to drag it all around :)

We have some signets in our local park and I wish I could take a decent photo of them.

It's no surprise half the birds are taking to wing though, looks at what's being pointed at them!  They poor birdies think it's going to go "bang" not "click"  :ahhh.  Fantastic shots though mate.  :salute:

Red wings, chickadees, and blue jays are my favorites.

I don't usually shoot birds (in any sense ;) ) but Chris' comment reminded me of these pics I took a few years back.  Of course photos are a snap shot in time and what these don't show is what happens to nosey bods with cameras who get a little too close to mummy and daddy swan's precious babies  ::)  I'll leave that to your imagination :D

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
