Sorry dude, it's just that we've had a long time to come to terms with the fact you can't come, but the fact Ryan is abandoning us at such a late stage is quite an emotional shock.

Following up from the PMs I sent out last night. Jack still isn't sparkling but children being children who knows

We went to see the doctor this morning who reckons he has a chest infection and he's on antibiotics plus paracetamol to keep his temperature in check.

My wife reckons he'll be OK to go with her on Sunday (she's booked to play at the Help For Heroes gig in town) as per the original plan but I'm not convinced. I'm still getting everything ready to go but I won't really know if I have a go until tomorrow morning depending on what kind of night he has.

His timing sucks
