It doesn't look like it's really accomplishing a whole heck of a lot and doesn't seem terribly popular, so unless someone can give me a good solid argument I think it might get itself shut down so we can make way for other projects.

I've never used them on any forum.  So it makes no odds to me.  I'll stick to derailing threads.  :D

I have used it a time or 2 but like some of the others said I don't believe I would miss it :) but 1 did say leave the chat and do away with the shoubox :think: might entice more to join the chat :D

I'm glad the shoutbox is gone. I read this forum using my mobile phone sometimes and the shoutbox is what slows things down.
