They can't be as Fruit pastells are the best.  Either those or those super sour blue cola bottle thingies.

I do like Mentos quite a lot but the cinnamon flavour is my favourite and can't be found here. That's probably a good thing though  ::)

A chewy mint is usually a good thing in my book. Have you American chaps had the pleasure of Kendal Mint cake?  :)

Oh no! The non-chocolate covered version actually resembles that in an unfortunate way but it's very tasty and a great hiking energy snack to carry.

Probably similar to the old version before it went soft.  Though I don't think the chocolate on the Kendal Mint Cake is as strong.

Kendal mint cake is amazing stuff.  I hated it until I did the DofE award, and then I loved it. 

Never tried mentos though, apart from dropping them into diet coke (and then cleaning up the mess in my kitchen :))

Oh yeah you gotta love mint cake.  :drool:  I just remembered about the brown stuff, do they still do it?

My "candy" of choice at the moment are peppermint Altoids.  At first I got them just for the very handy tin, but now I permanently have a tin sitting by me as I type.

I'll need to go have a look in M&S then for a bit of variety.  The handy thing is that the tins are just the right size for holding SAK guts.  :D

No Altoids here. Loved them on vacation in the UK, but miss them here.  :-\

I like fruit Mentos and Haribo stuff. There are "summer edition" Mentos Lemon/Yoghurt they´re great too. But my favorite is... MAOAM!

To my knowledge, Altoid were invented in England.  So I would be surprised if they're shipped to Austrailia,,,thanks to heady days of colonialism ::)

Altoids.  Curious.

Actually, I like them too, but I don't really consider them candy...

Neccos are a throwback to the 60-70s!  They used to come from a Pennsylvania confectioner, don't know who owns them now... We used to use them as gambling chips in boy scouts... :D

Back to Altoids..> I like the tins too.  Nicely hinged and good for holding "things".  I also use Cavendish and Harvey tins.  They are quite sturdy.  Sour Cherry is the house favorite.



I think more candy should come in handy tins.
