So in the past two days I have filled out 20 applications and filed for unemployment.  My goal is to find a job before I can even get benefits, but I figured I might as well get it out of the day.  This seriously couldn't have come at a better time.  My wife and I have one month left on our apartment lease, and then we are moving in with her parents (been planning this for months) to save up money to buy a house.  No rent, utilities, groceries for as long as we need it.  Do I like moving back in with her parents...no...but they are good people and they give us our space.  Most of the credit cards are paid off, or they have very small payments to make, my car is paid for, hers is almost.  This can work, and I WILL FIND A JOB.

Yay! Positive thinking, that's the key!! :salute: :salute:

Update on the job front.  I have had a few interviews, one was a scam the other legit.  The legit one was selling jewelry as an assistant manager, but I can't do retail anymore, so I didn't take it.  I am now doing independent counseling for a company.  Its contract work, but I will be the only counselor in a 50 mile radius, so I should get some good work, I just can't work over 39.5 hours as it is part time, but at least I can still claim unemployment.  I go to a training seminar tomorrow and will hopefully get some cases in the coming weeks.
