Parts interchanging
on: June 18, 2009, 05:56:37 PM
I am not sure if this is possible but are the tools and scales interchangeable between the Vic's and the Wengers? I am new to this still but couldnt find anything on the interchangability of the parts.

Thanks

Scibeer was experimenting with putting 85mm Wenger scissors in an 84mm Vic a while back.

As with a lot of stuff I think it came into the category of not worth the grief :)

I'll qualify my first post by saying no, they don't but you can do most things if you're prepared to do much drilling and grinding ;)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Easiest mod is putting the Wenger 85mm file in place of the Vic 91mm second blade- but be prepared to make your own spacer. Other than that the hole in the tang is the right size and the nail nick is still accessible.
