Photos of the Victorinox Package.
on: June 24, 2009, 01:26:38 AM
I just received my Victorinox Shipment.  :climber:

Here are some photographs and first thoughts.

Did I order that much? It looked far larger boxed then on paper. :D

Interestingly enough, Victorinox MTs come with different sheaths. The larger nylon ones are for the SwissTools, and the smaller leather ones, for the Spirits.

From left to right: SwissTool standard, SwissTool X, SwissTool RS, Spirit X, Spirit.

Cybertool 125 Jubilee. This came in a really nice magnetic latched display box.

WorkChamp XL. Er…I had no clue how huge this thing is. It dwarfs my largest MT. I can’t see anyone EDCing this one.

I noticed I hadn’t spread out the top tools for the photo. I guess I got tired playing with the larger side.

New and old Soldiers.

The infamous ALOX Farmer. It has a very nice feel to it. Nice tool selection. I can see why so many people like it. Myself, I like something larger.

A Silvertech Spartan. Very nice looking.

A Ranger. Holy smokes. I wasn’t expecting something this large.

The Rescue tool. Now this is more my style.

Sapphire SwissChamp. Wow, another huge SAK. You just don’t realize how large these can be looking at photos on the Internet. They seem larger in person. Note that unlike the WorkChamp XL above, I did not forget to splay the top tools for the camera.

I tend to like them big it seems. I really like this one also. The Jumpmaster.

This will give me some review material for later.

Holy smoke that's some group.  :o  I don't have a Workchamp, that thing looks massive.  :)

Great pictures.  Its nice to see someone take the MTO motto so seriously "If in doubt, buy both" :D
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Thanks Tim.

I might start off with a review of the WorkChamp XL. That thing is hillarious.

Whoa! That's quite a haul there Chako! :o They must have needed the big truck to make that delivery!

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Very nice pics of some very fine tools mate :tu:

As to the thickness of the tool's, while there a little intimidating at first, you really do adapt to them quickly :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

You might be surprised as how expertly packaged and small the original box was. Tim did a fantastic job packaging it all.

Damn that's a good haul.  :tu:

It would be no good me getting that much at once.  I wouldn't know what to play with first.
I'm back!!

Wow, that almost takes the fun out of buying them one at a time. Nah, a great big SAK-buying orgy would be spectacular  >:D I recently got my first Swiss Tools and in the multi-world they rank at the top for quality in my book. Those shouldn't disappoint, I just hope you sort out the ones you prefer and move the rest along to a home where they will be put to work  :D :D :D
