Nice haul today.

Gather 'round, children... this guy has a nice haul.

Ok, I'm not mentioning where I got my items, because the place has a couple other knives I'm getting later this week, but I do have pictures. >:3

This shows my new original Yeoman with BSA scales, which is not to be confused with the new BSA "Yeoman," which is just an Explorer with BSA scales... yes, I found one of each, but I thought the price was too good to pass. >:3

Also shown in that picture is one of two Red Alox Pioneers I purchased, yes, it has the old-style cross; the tang stamp shows it's an overrun from 1997.

This shows both of the Red Alox Pioneers, again, with the old-style crosses.  They are both, in fact, overruns from 1997.  Also shown is a 2002 stamped Old Soldier, with the name Keith Myers engraved upon it.  Furthermore, two additional old-style cross Old Soldiers are found; they, too, had 1997 stampings.

All six knives were out the door for $200, which I could /not/ pass up; today's been a good day. @_@

Oh, I just call the 1961-2008 Soldier as the Old Soldier model, since it has been replaced this past year with the New Soldier, which is based off from the OHT.

:ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh........... i think the "old soldier" may be the best SAK IMHO. i really don't much care for the OHT. guess i'm gonna have to stock up too.

Err, it's come to my attention - after a person asked on another forum, to which I checked the silver Alox old-style cross SAKs - that those are actually both Electricians. :/  My fingernails were shot after opening the other knives' blades to where I just went by the shape of the opener layer blades for identification. ._.

I also went back through the others, they're all identified correctly otherwise. @_@

Alox is all good! My fave is the First mate but I also have a Pioneer Harvester which I love. Got a thing about the little pruner blades - evil sharp little buggers!  >:D
