New link to Malkoff's website
on: July 06, 2009, 06:54:01 PM
If anyone's interested, here's a functioning link to Malkoff Devices site:

http://www.malkoffdevices.com/shop/index.php

They've been putzing around with the site for a week or so but it seems to be working now.

Are they a new flashlight manufacturer?

He started by making drop in for maglite and surefire. Not long ago he signed up with some company to mass produce his drop in, and recently started to make a flashlight that fits his surefire drop in.

He has some fanatic followers, but I don't think it's as good as it's hyped up to be.

His dropins are mde for fit SurFire and Mag-Lights.  I have two of his M60 dropins.  One is in a SureFire Centurion C2 and The other is in one of Malkoff's own hosts...the HA III MD2 model.  Last week, Malkoff introduced a bezel that will allow an E series SureFire to use his M60 series dropins.  I've never had a SureFire LED so I can't really compare the Malkoff lamps to SureFire's but, from what I've read, Malkoff's are superior.

The M60 series dropins can be had in various formats featuring flood or throw or a combination of the two.  He also offers low and low low output lamps.

Here's a few pics:

Well you can tell I'm no flashlight genius, but appearance-wise he's got a nice looking product. :)
