Wow!  That's a fair bit of sawing for a 3 inch blade.  Impressive!

I have just recenlty received my Skeletool (yesterday as a matter of fact). I havent had much time to use it properly, but today it assisted me into planting some lettucces. I needed to cut the small plastic containers that house the lettucce plants, and even as it is a thin plastic, it is hard to just rip it open.

Let a security guard use my Micra to cut off a security label, then used the Squirt bottle opener to open a weiss beer (takes two goes :( ), then used the Juice opener to open another Weiss beer (different beer brand, the opener works well  :) ), then used the micra opener to open another alcoholic beverage (no problems here)... things might get a bit blurry from here onwards..

the opener on the Squirt really is poor, isn't it. ::)

Used the saw on my Juice CS4 to cut some sticks so the kids could roast marshmallows and used the bottle opener to remove the caps from a variety of beers from August Schell Brewing Company. :drink:

A chain saw was used to clear most of the damaged branch, but I used the LM in tighter spots to avoid damaging the surviving wood.

I was at a job with a bloke who had a New Wave....

Honestly, even if people arn't members here, everyone who owns a multi is a multi-nerd, and wants to compare tools.

Anyway, he reckoned my old wave was a hunk of poo, and has never been happier since he got his replaced with a new one under warranty....

Hope that you have guided him to the light, and that now he regrets swapping old one for new one... Old Wave is just classy....  :multi:

agreed.  The screwdrivers are better too.  Such a shame LM never did a pliers version of the Micra IMO. :-\

I've been carrying my Micra lately, too; it came in very handy in assembling some signage in a Walmart, and for allowing a parent to cleave a string at a dance recital. :tu:

In the (approximate) words of a Bob the Builder song “ Don’t go blaming the toolbox, you need the right tool for the job”.  :D

All I seem to use lately are the bottle openers, the one on my SRM 763 was used by many last Sunday..  :drink:

fixing a standlight. During a move I lost the retainer clips and screws. Made a few out of copper, drilled with an awl, bend with the pliers, and screw in with the drivers. I had to use metal cutters to get the strips, but since copper is quite a maleable metal, it wasnt too much of a chore.

Used my Atwood Roid Rench to scrape crud off of a rim while changing a tire on the 10 foot batwing mower.

Then used my Atwood Roid Rench to press in the rubber grommet end of an air hose on the Ducati.

Almost forgot!  opened a couple beers with too!

I used the blade on my CS4 to scrape a terrazzo floor to see if all of the sealer had been removed.   Now I need to touch up the edge on the blade.

In the past couple of days, I used the Supertool bottle opener (worked well) and the Juice philips screwdriver (worked OK, but the screw´s head was too worn to unscrew easily).
I have also used the above mentioned tools to cut paperclips, for no practical reason. On the supertool the stranded wire cutters worked better than the hard wire cutters, for that purpose.

Having deliberately bought some small, 250ml, bottled beers I continued my testing, without worrying too much about the amount of beer I will have to consume.

Used the bottle opener on an RR scout knife (worked ok, a bit slippery), the micra again (works very well) and a victorinox (Best I have used so far).... I have also used extensively the bottle opener on the SRM 763, simply because it is always available when the knife is closed (works well with some practise).

I disassembled my Glasses with my Blast's small bit driver.  Worked like a charm.  I really needed to clean them and that tool is all I have that will do the job.

Used the awl on a BO Swisstool Spirit to dig out a broken shelf bracket, and later to clean out the skank left behind when a battery leaked in a ceiling projection clock.  Seems like I use the awl more than anything.  The BO Spirit has been my EDC for a good while now.
