Used the awl on a BO Swisstool Spirit to dig out a broken shelf bracket, and later to clean out the skank left behind when a battery leaked in a ceiling projection clock.  Seems like I use the awl more than anything.  The BO Spirit has been my EDC for a good while now.

I also own a BO spirit.
Its one of my favorites of all time.

the BO wearing yet? =)

Yesterday, we were out on a trail ride.  One of the horses picked up a stone.  I used my Leatherman Kf4 pliers as a hoof pick and cleared the rock out.  Then a few miles later, I cut a low hanging branch (at clothlining height) out of the way with the Kf4 saw.

Fixed a leaky Emergency Air Line on the Converter Gear Saturday Morning..Leaking right at the Ferrule..Used my Rescue Tool to make a clean cut in the hose, then used the Screwdriver Blade on same to pry ends up on ferrule to reuse..Put the ferrule back on tightned everything back up with a pair of Vise grips and on my way back to the yard where a regular mechanic can replace with new ferrule

The black oxide on my Spirit has been very durable, though I also like the look of some well-worn black oxide.

I've used my new SS Skeletool today...

I have a small garden behind my house where I'm trying to produce some organic vegetable for my family... Today I've made a irrigation system "drop-by-drop"....

So Skele cutted some hoses, wire, plastic... Etc... It worked like a charm!! Only one thing I'd change CE for PE, I like that one more, so anyone have spare 154CM blade from CX??  :pok: :pok: :D

Thanks Crouton!!

Grabbed a couple of Jamo 38 speakers from the carboot sale.  Knobs on the back had broken away so used my Special Mechanic's pliers to tighten them instead.  They were just big enough.

A quick test told me that, although they look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards, they indeed were a proper bargain for three quid :D

Sorry about the jerky vision shot  :-[
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Used powerlock awl as a scribe to mark aluminum and then after cutting used the file to clean up the rough edges. Then used the awl again to make starter holes for my drill bit.
Used the pliers to push and pull a needle to repair some leatherwork.
Finally used the pliers to take care of a wayward nose hair.
All in a days work in my fabricating workshop a.k.a kitchen table.

after landing a job (finally!!!), we needed to remove a small sign from an office to change it for a notice that the office was to be realocated. The screws were torx, so they had to actually go look for them. I happen to have my EDC bit kit with me (aside from my Skeletool and bit extender), and I took it out in a flash, scoring a few brownie points on  the way.

Took apart my bicycle to change out both cassettes and chain.

Needed two tools (Charge TTi and Surge) to get the axles off. I don't have access to a dedicated tool set where I am now, so had to make do with MTs.

Used my Juice KF4 to replace an old latch lock with a deadbolt on a door at work. After getting everything lined up and finally screwed together, I found out that the receiving hole in the door frame was too shallow to receive the longer deadbolt! A few minutes with the Juice's awl (I sharpened mine as soon as I got it - why can't Leatherman do that? ), and the PE blade to clean the edges, problem solved.  :salute:

I used my micra to cut the puke coated jumjams of my four year old in the middle of last night, rather than drag the top over her head thus spreading said puke over her long hair. Then gave her a shower to clean the rest of it of. Yuk.

Used my SRM763 (it has a bottle opener so I consider it a multitool!  :D) as a cigar cutter, on two cigars, at a meal ; worked very well.

Used a LM squirt for nail care...

I've bought a skate to my son. It is a cheapo low end one, I reckon let him break this one, and if he loves it then I'll buy him more expencive one... And over that I'm to buy him i bike so there is not much cash for both...

So I've did some wheels adjustment with my Skeletool...  :salute: :salute:

Used the pliers and Phillips bit on my Skeletool to change the threaded end of an extension pole, the pliers to remove clips on some gallon paint cans, and the wire cutters to threaten a computer that was being a pain in the butt  :).

My Powerlock and I participated in demolishing a bathroom. Later, the Skeletool and I assembled and installed a cieling fan.

Also used the pliers on a Bahco to loosen the top of a tube of rubber glue and the scissors on a MIcra to cut some fiberglass mesh to use with the glue.

We had our pontoon boat anchored with a few other boats at the sand bar.  When one of the other boats decided to leave the driver got my anchor line twisted around his propeller.

After a couple swipes with the blade of my PS4 the line was free.

My car wouldn't start after 2.5 weeks of just sitting there. A short inspection later and the culprit proved to be the engine starter. Used the Spirit to :twak: it a couple of times, which seems to have awaken it from its slumber. Result! :tu: :D

Working on my car, again, sigh  But at least these MK2 Golfs are easy to work on and
the Vic Spirit is perfect for the job. Trouble is the car is 20 years old and things just wear out
and give up the ghost  ::) The car itself is outstandingly sound but the ancilleries give
occasional trouble.

I have used the bottle openers on my pulse and sideclip to open a slew of beer tonight!  Other than that I did some miscellaneous prying with the pliers of both today.
