Worked the Surge pretty hard all weekend long camping and climbing. Did a bit of stove maintenance, food prep, just lots of pretty basic camp related tasks. :tu:

Today's duty roster for my SOG Power Pliers:
Cut coaxial cables
Remove a floor air register grille
Pulled rivets from snowblower auger with plier head used as a pry bar
Filed rough edges of the said auger with the file
One tough old tool!

I used the serrated blade on my "Skelejuice" to cut a Subway sandwich in half because the dozy bint who served it forgot, and I was too bone idle to take it back downstairs.

I used to come here a lot.

Oh, yeah, then right, I went and took my Landrover apart, and put it back together again, with a Micra. And a Spyderco Ladybug. Honestly.

I used to come here a lot.

Last night, making Pasta alla Carrettiera, three sealed cans and no can-opener around.
The one on my Victorinox Spirit did the job, quite well. Nobody seemed as excited as me about it, though.  ;)

I used the Skelejuice to saw up a thorny bush in the garden, much to her delight and my misfortune. I'm scratched to bits.

Had to remount new rubber on the Burgman.   Charge used to remove and refit a cotter pin on the rear axle nut.

While out on the shakedown ride, I remembered I forgot to tighten the nut that holds the parking brake lever on.  At the next parking lot, I used the Atwood Wildcard to tighten the metric nut down before turning and heading back home.

Swiss tool and Craftsman used to take apart and clean a fan. Worked just great till I ran into a very stripped screw. Which needed a little extra torque. Nothing the old cordless drill couldn't get done. Still getting used to this SAK craftsman though. I am used to working with locking tools.

Yesterday morning I left before the sun was up. Laying my keys on the tool box in the back of my truck
I heard a clunk and sure enough they fell between the bed and the box.

Having big hands I figured I wouldn't be able to reach it so out came the little INOVA (green) led and the LM Kick.

Now mind you I can't play "flashlight tag with UFO's" with this led but it was more then enough to see my keys.

There is an old saying that the best piece of equipment you could have is the one you have with you when you need it.  I tend to agree ;)

Not today, but last night, was enjoyin' the Ghost train up at Tweetsie Railroad with the wife, family, & friends, & saw an older fellow tryin' to tighten the screw in his glasses with his fingernail. Well, it is the one time since I switched from my Charge Xti to the Sideclip That the eyeglass screwdriver would have come in handy, but the Sideclip pulled through. I let him borrow it, he thanked me, & went on his merry way. We all had a great time, & hopefully his night turned out ok after that.

Yesterday I received a new Casio watch with a metal band and since the band was too big, I used my Bahco multitool to remove some of the links.

What's the output?

Beam aperture:   2.8mm (dia)
Wavelength:   670nm
Power supply:   5Vdc
Operating current:   <40mA
Output power:   0.7 - 0.99mW

At least that's what the spec says, I think its under performing the beam is definitely diffusing more than it should, I'll hopefully finish it this week an post a few pics of it in use

Juice CS4 today.

Some electrical work in the attic and then used to prepare lunch.  Versatility with blue scales.
