Didn't get a chance to post it, but I used my blast again to take apart an entire door lock for a Guest on Sunday.  Had to replace the control module.  Used my bit adapter and everything.

I then used it to remove the pins from a night latch from the outside after a guest had locked himself out of the adjoining room with it thrown.  He didn't like seeing that I could break in through the night latch so easy but it was the only way to get him back into his room.  I assured him no one could do it without waking him up, that I was only that quiet because I have had to do it a million times.

BTW, I work in Hotel/Resort Security, these are hotel rooms I am talking about, I'm not some random B&E expert!

Do you like the Fit? I almost bought one two days ago, but decided not to when I noticed it was €47 ($61) :ahhh

I have one in my car kit, and to be honest it's hardly seen any use other than the torch  ::) I really like it though. It's very pocketable, and the tools seem fine. I just need to properly test that bit driver at some point, but because it's been in the car and I've had other stuff in my pocket it's not done the mileage it could have done otherwise.

Maybe I ought to stick it in my EDC bag for a while  Hmmm ... paired with a Toolzall ProXL would probably work quite nicely

I do like the Fit.  My only complaint is that it doesn't have pliers, so I have to pair it with the LM Freestyle.  For me, it's a good off-duty EDC.

The pliers thing is not so much an issue for me, as I've rarely only got one tool on me. I tend to come out in a rash if I only pocket carry one tool.  :P

I've been caught out a few times recently with needing the one tool that none of my pocket carried items had ... a serrated blade ... then a saw ... stuff I "never" need, you know how it is

Today I used the ratchet from my Spirit, my Spirit and my CT34 to repair my pellet-stove by replacing the fan unit and some modofication of said fan placement points :)
All while being lighted by a couple of ITP flashlights and my trusty Zebralight :)

Light day for me; just a little cotton trimming whilst making a small repair to my trousers.

CT34 scissors had that covered :)

Tiny screw came out of the bottom of my laptop for some reason.

Charge Ti's tiny screwdriver took care of that right quick.

I have found that the flat tip on the Rambler file is very useful for teasing out spring bars to change watch straps.

I tested several multitools' can openers, by opening 3 cans of food with them. I used the flathead screwdriver on my Wingman to tighten the screw holding the handle on my favorite frying pan. I used a Sheffield 12010 to take apart and reassemble a virtual clone of the same tool... trying to smooth out the opening and closing of the plier head.
