I was at a barbecue earlier, and nobody had a can opener!  Nobody, that is, except for the two that I had on me.  :)  Wenger Evo16 and a P-51 each did the job nicely.

I just used my rebar and charge TTi to tear down a keycard lock and replace it's innards.  Both tools worked wonders, but the Rebar really performed well, it surprised me a bit.

Amici,
I used the pliers from a Victorinox Craftsman and a Wenger S557 to bend a small chain link back together that had somehow separated apart.

Cheers,

Used the awl on the Trekker to make holes in a new wood-gas stove. Used the Sheffield 12010 to handle sharp edges of cans while making the wood-gas stove. Then, I used the Trekker's blade and saw to cut wood to fill the stove for first testing. The stove works great.

Used the large blade on my deluxe tinker and a signal mirror while sitting at my desk to shave a small patch of whiskers under my nose that I had missed when shaving.

I replaced the lace on one of my 3 y.o. daughter's boots.  It was actually a bit of work... they are Keens and have the elastic laces that are fixed into the shoe.  Used my Compact to remove the laces from the lanyard lock that held them together, and my Skeletool to press the lock back together after installing the new lace.  Had to use a pair of hemostats to pull the new lace through the very tiny holes on the shoe for the lace.

Used my Victorinox Spirit to pull a piece of nail out of the left rear tire of my car, luckily it didn't puncture it (at least I think it didn't, I'll check it again tomorow morning just to make sure ...  ::)).

No way I could have pulled it out by hand, it sat horizontal in a groove of the tyre, but the Spirit got it out in no time  8).

Used my Skeletool to tighten up a mirror on a motorcycle , opposite threads are a real pain  >:D, did the job fine , but not good for the chrome , so must start to carry a wrench. Which I have just seen the logic of , thanks to this forum  :).

Used my TTi to take the cover off my A/C condenser.  Coils were pretty dirty(clogged really) so i hosed them off, but the unit still isn't cooling the house.  My A/C skills are minimal so I guess a call to a technician is in order, my wife and mother in law can't stand the heat!

Today I used my mum's SOG Powerlock's saw to remove a dead branch; it worked surprisingly well.

Used my Spirit X to disassemble my desktop speakers at work so I could resolder the headphone jack connector because the solder joints were bad.  The philips driver worked well.

Someone had brought in their soldering iron so it saved me from bringingthem home this weekend. Resoldered the connections and reassembled.

today I was at a picnic.  A whole bunch of us are smokers, but there wasn't a butt can/ashtray in sight!  took a couple of empty soda cans and used the can opener on my Evo16 to cut the tops off.  Problem solved!

Had to build my wife's sewing table (flatpack) today. Too lazy to go out to the shed for tools, so my Charge and Skeletool did all the work :)

I use my Vic Spirit everyday. EVERYDAY. I have a thread on EDCF about it, but here are some highlights from the last couple of months.
...I had to drill a 3/16th hole in a SumpPump discharge pipe.  Why bother getting a cordless drill and a bit and a battery when...VIC.
(That was a picture of my vic awl poking a hole in the 1.5" PVC discharge pipe.)

Toilet handle was missing a cotter pin, so VIC!

This
(a pic of a wire flaper hook)

Became this
(a makeshift cotterpin)

Because of this
(my Vic)

Which saved me yet another trip to the truck.

Used the Vic as a hammer again today.  Nothing major, just some plastic anchors when installing a new Frost Proof Hose faucet.
(pic of me tappin =g in some plastic anchors)

Also had to get the Vic's bit extension in the drill to allow the chuck to not rub the handle of the faucet.  Its hard to screw the screws in if the driver head is at an angle.  It'd just strip the screws and rub marks on the plastic handle.  Yep, the Vic saved me 2 trips to the truck on that job.

The awl helped remove the cartridge clip from a moen Tub & Shower valve.  No better tool for that.  I always goto the Vic Awl!

Used it to reconnect my CB radio after the repair shop replaced my battery cable and left it off.

This is a dramatic reenactment...

Also had to retract the hood's locking mechanism with the flathead.  Have to do it every time I pop the hood:)

Hoping the pics show up.  I'll edit if they don't.

EDIT:  some did, some didn't.  I labeled the ones that didn't though they were pretty self explanitory.

If you'd like to see my thread its here

I used the medium flathead on the Juice S2 to replace the battery in my car's fob. Then I used the same flathead (since it was already out) to scrape a decade's worth of crud out of the fob before reassembling.

At home, I have the Juice S2, an original PST, and a Vic Tinker on my living room table. When something arises, I grab whatever seems like the most likely needed tool, and go to it.

Today I used my Supertool 300's beefy jaws to do a quick repair of my kitchen sink faucet.  The spray tip had come loose so it was really just re-tightening the thing, and voila, fixed!  When my girlfriend got home, she asked me to fix the sink, so I told her I already did!

Been on a crosscountry move the last three days, with two left.  My BO wave has been by my side the whole time and i have used the hell out of it for everything from furniture disassembly(praise the bit extender!!) to cutting rope to snipping my son's straw down to size when we stop to eat.  This tool has cemented itself as a companion.

Today I've changed old teared mosquito net's from window's...

I must say that I've beaten up my Pico Widgy Pry bar to take out old rusty painted nails which digged in the wood... And it passed with flying colors!!! Maybe Atwood, JRP, PTX or some other are fancier, but I bet they would just eat the dust behind this little dude...

The curve is perfect, sharpness of tips is just right... I've beaten it with hammer, pryied with pliers... Nothing!! It looks as new!!!

I'm contemplating on getting Atwood Keyton, and have PTX Brewzer and Piranha... Though I'll get me the rest of two sizes of CC Widgy Pry Bar!!! They are awesome!!

Together with this I've used my Spirit, also pulling out nails, and stretshing the new SS mosquito net!!

Awesome job today!!
