I have no idea! May have to try and find the write up and see if it was mentioned!
I think Lynn did a direct comparison between the modern LM can opener and the Vic can opener.

Maybe a can opener race. That would be cool. A can opener tournament We did that at a UK meet up several years ago. Had a load of cans to open to set the boys lose with different tools to see which performed the best (that's what they thought anyway; we were actually just making them help with dinner) Nice So which ones performed the best?

That is probably very true Tony
Installed one of these Star Treck door panels from thinkgeek.com with my wave. Admit it you want one! Does the whoosh sound when you walk by.

Perhaps she will shed some light on this subject for me Sure, here's the thread where it started (and pretty much ends)http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,36802.0.htmlThen it branched into a separate thread to test 15oz cans (with some linked, timed videos)http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,37059.0.htmlAnd THEN became a discussion on #10 cans here...http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,37113.0.htmlThe TLDR short version... mostly not a lot of difference, times range from about 22 to 28 seconds on most can openers for 15oz cans. If you use big, #10 cans, either use a Vic (as opposed to a Wenger) or get a locking can opener. And finally back on topic... I had one of those AWESOME days where you use a multitool to open packages of OTHER multitools! The blade on my Rambler did the work. Go Rambler!

Used my Charge TTi to clean up and repair the leaking roof of the radome on a global communications/satellite tracking station while hanging off the side of a knuckle boom 30m up in the air.

Changed a light socket in a lamp the other day with my Victorinox Explorer. Alternated between the large flat head and phillips. Reminds me what a brilliant tool the inline phillips is on a SAK.(Image removed from quote.)
