I used the spirit x wire cutters to make a clean cut on the end of a fishing rod to put on a replacement guide ring. I was able to do it but the spirit design wire cutters didn't work well.

Yeah if they just didn't grind that extra notch on the wire cutters. Honestly I would prefer pointier pliers on the spirit but I'm fine with the ones on there. And yea the spirit is pretty perfect.

The AL is a little better looking than the TTi I think, and smoother operating as well (at least between mine anyway, sometimes differs from tool to tool). Glad you were able to convert another person and extend the Wave sale to him/her. Nice job
Built my new PC. Spirit X was on package opening duty.
The second, my son was later paying fetch with me with a short length of PVC pipe. He would throw it on the grass, I would bring it back. At one point, one end splintered. I never took the Charge out of my pocket, and cut the afflicted end off with the wood saw, and we continued our game. I usually only use this implement around Christmas!
