I used the saw on my farmer to cut up the remains of the 10 pound holiday ham to give to my dogs. It took a while and some effort to saw through the big bone! All four dogs are in the backyard being real quite, happily gnawing on their ham bones.  :)

I used my LM c301 to open up a pair of SAK's and a Shrade cheapie I got from the hardware store.

Used my Super Tinker earlier to break down a coke box for the trash.

Used my Hunstman Slim to wrap some presents for the wife,  Cheers Gareth

i just saw this, you're very welcome mate. :tu:

Various SAKs went into cutting paper while wrapping (much faster than scissors IMO) and then my Pulse and P4 did quite a bit of unwrapping, installing batteries and cutting plastic ties etc.

how, exactly, do you cut paper with a SAK?

Well all I do is have the paper on the carpeted floor*, get a rough size and use the main blade to pierce and then slice through the paper.  If the blade is sharp enough (and it doesn't have to be all that sharp), then it should glide through the paper as if it wasn't there.  if the paper is thin and nasty then it's more likely to snag but normally it's not a problem.

*try very hard not to cut up the carpet, no pressure is required whatsoever ;)

That, to me, is the essence of what makes a good "EDC" multitool. In one word, adaptability. Good job CG :tu:

Myself, quite a boring day, but I used my Raker Ringtool to open the package containing my drink bottle holder, and the pliers on my Charge to thread the Tac Ties through the MOLLE webbing, as they were only just long enough!
I used to come here a lot.

Used both a Wave and a Surge to reassemble a Kick into a custom SAK type tool. Then used my shiny brand new Swisstool to take apart and inspect the switch on a space heater.

I used one of the jaws on a SOG Power Pliers as an alignment punch to install a new head on a satellite dish on someone's roof this morning.  -10 F is too cold!

Modified a light to accept high power lithium cells.

Pliers - Used to remove the bottom spring

Hard Wire Cutter - To cut the spring

File - To smooth out the edges of the spring

Pliers- To insert the spring in its upright position.

How the heck did I go so long in life without one?

So far today I have bent a metal clip back into shape which was surprisingly tough to do with only a Skeletool, 2 sets of pliers would have been ideal I think, but we managed. And opened a bunch of boxes doing receiving.

Leatherman Surge

Large Flat Screwdriver/Pry Tool -

To demonstrate to a then potential and now satisfied customer how easy it would be to "pick" their improperly installed front door open with nothing but a flat screwdriver in 15 seconds.

Hiker got used last night at work...a patient locked himself in the bathroom...again...and I used the caplifter/large flat head, to "pick" the lock.  Instead of being able to pop to the lock by pushing in, the lock on my side of the door looked like a very large flat head screw and simply turned and unlocked the door.  The girls were terribly impressed. :D

Today I've been trying (with no luck) to fix one of my family's old clocks (those with a pendulum, you know). The Spirit did very well but the problem is me: I have no idea how those things work. I'll keep trying though.

Used the chisel/scraper on my Spirit to remove he painted label from my ST X. Worked fantastically and the ST is way prettier now.

A Spirit doing stuff to a Swisstool X?
Sounds like multitool porn. :tu::D

Dismantling an alarm clock. :pok: Okay, I didn't dismantle it, I took the battery cover of.  Happy now?

My Black&Decker power screwdriver's bit was too big to fit in the screw.  Instead of having to dig around my tool bag for a smaller bit or a screwdriver with a smaller head, I used my Super Tinker to open it up.

Love that SAK!
