I used my Style CS scissors to cut the exposed piece of plastic from a plastic wall anchor.

Various gardening duties for the surge.  The vic saw is better than the standard leatherman saw for cutting bamboo canes

I used the butter blade on my Spirit to cut some plastic today at work. Also used my Knipex plier wrench to attach bolts for a license plate. Tonight, I used the can opener on my Spirit to open two cans for dinner tonight.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Sak pin and tweezers to the rescue to remove a stubborn splinter.

It's amazing how such a small piece of wood can feel so big

Took everything down off the walls and filled the holes and removed the wall hanging hardware.

Used my SC to dig broken drywall and paint out of the holes, remove screws and mix drywall mud with the fish scaler.

Cut tape and gave moral suppprt while packing the pictures and stuff into boxes.

Yeah just 40 minutes away out in the country.

When I retired from the Army we decided to rent while we got settled back home in Michigan.

Stick a Bosch "Speed for Wood" (coarse pruning type teeth) jigsaw blade in the holder--it will zip through wood in no time. I prefer using that to the saw that comes with the Surge.

At the grocery store today, while going to get a second shopping cart I noticed a lady was having trouble separating two shopping carts.   First of all, I tried pulling them apart by hand. That didn't work.  Finally, I found a part of the bottom basket that had been crushed and bent against the bottom basket of the other cart (I'm guessing both carts together had hit something with some force), pinning the two carts together. Using the "screwdriver" (really, it's more of a pry bar) on the Duluth DH16 Handiman, I got the two carts apart by prying one of the damaged pieces up and pulling the front cart out.

Use the serrated blade of the Trekker to clip excess husk and silk off the tops of some corn before putting them in the coals to roast.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.

Hi everybody! Used the Micra and took apart a crappy kitchen sharpener. Used the small diamond files inside to sharpen my folded knife by hand and reassembled the sharpener again.

Ok. Don't laugh. I know the Surge isn't the right tool for this but its brand new and I've been roaming the house looking for something to fix. Found a malfunctioning doorlock. There was a broken spring (right word?) inside. Oild and cleaned it up. Put it together and it's fine!

If you fixed it, it was the right tool

I was tearing out a ceiling and putting in a large patch the other day, and there was a vent fan/light combo in the middle of it(bathroom).  I had to use my Rebar's flat head driver to pry the fan shroud into the hole into the new piece I had cut.  That Rebar saw a lot of use that day.  I also had to use the saw to trim some sheetrock to fit, and realized that there really isn't a substitute for a good sharp keyhole saw...

Very short description:

Ham radio or Amateur Radio is mainly making radio contacts all over the world. Can be done in voice, morse (cw) or all kind if digital modes.

Many apspects involved, i especially like making and tuning Antenna systems, and use them to get as long distance contacts as possible.  For example, from the netherlands where i live, to a friend in Brazil. (Making use of shortwave bands and radios)

It is like make phone calls, but without the lines between.

That is pretty cool! I just wonder, do you have to bounce off the radio signals over a relay? Because earth‘s curvature should prevent a direct connection between Netherlands and Brazil, right?

No, for shortwave, that is not done by a relay, it is a direct contact. The Antenna radiation angle will send the signal into the ionosphere, where it will bounce back down again.

For local contacts on 144-146mhz there are many relays here, but that is for short distance like 50km or so
