The northern parts of Alaska and Canada are the same way.

What Squirt do you have? They're great little tools! :tu:
It a PS4. Great for small tasks. I like the toolset and the sturdy feel. I think I bought it during a summer holiday trip from a jewelry store we visited. Changed the batteries to a watch I think. And I saw the Squirt there on a display somewhat underpriced. Didn't buy it at once when I saw it but had to go back to the store to buy it after few hours. Lucky I did! Got my brand new Micra in a same way from a flea market few years later :D

The Squirt seems to get a little more pocket time than my Micra. Both are great tools though, just for different purposes. People don't get amazed when you pull one out from your pockets in an office so that's a bonus.

Got an action pic of Squirt from yesterday also. Had a charger that had a loose led light that I had to glue back to place and the charging pins were bent slightly. The philips head works well even with the small electronics screws. At least if they are not sunk deep.

Cut some drywall, tightened a recessed nut, tightened a screw, filed down some plastic, and pried out a plastic part from a metal bracket  :tu:

It's hard to work on recessed nuts with LMs. Do you have a way to use sockets? Or did you manage to do that just with the pliers?

Seems like your LM got some real use today! Is that btw a Rebar or ST? Hard to tell from the picture as there is no way to compare the size :D

Used the Curl to put a new wick for my old zippo. Used the pliers to pull out the wick and cotton balls and awl to push them back in. Got to use the flathead also on the flint spring screw.

Today Curl helped to unscrew our two tower fans for thorough cleaning so we could take these to storage as the weather is not that hot anymore.

Used today the Curl diamond file to sharpen the trauma shears of my IFAK. The blades were in a bad shape from factory. Wish I got more higher quality shears like Piranhas or even LM Raptor but after sharpening these cheap ones might do just fine. Im not expecting any emergency use for these but I like trauma shears for my IFAK more than the smaller nail scissors as these produce more cutting force and thus are more versatile. You never know. Might have to cut my pants the next time in the woods. :)

I used my multitool to pry off the knobs on my cooker hob for cleaning because they were rather stiff. Sorry I didn't take a photo, I was in the middle of cooking and didn't have the foresight to switch it to "off" before I took off the knob. I had to scramble to find the right position before I burned my bolognese!

When did you last clean under your knob? (oo-err)

Use the Arc to assemble a rocking chair. Pliers helped twist an Allen wrench I couldn't get enough torque on, and screwdriver to put the rocking portion on

Wife cooked some pancakes this morning, so I opened a can of homemade raspberry jam
Love using a beefy Spirit cap lifter for that job - works best in my opinion

So today I took the family to visit some friends at their small cabin. We were setting up to eat lunch and they brought some extra chairs out. The hostess was about to take one for herself that looked like it was about to fall apart.

I asked about it and offered to try to fix it really quickly and she said they hadn't brought any tools along. I smiled politely and assured her that it wasn't a problem.  :climber:
Turns out it just needed a few 4mm hex screws adjusted and then tightened down properly. Here's a pic of what I had on me to use.

Well sorta.

The magazine is for a slightly larger version of my pistol.

The base plate you see on the magazine fills the gap that is created. For look and to prevent over insertion which can damage the magazine or weapon.

Forgot to add the normal capacity is 15 rounds but these are 17 rounds.

Thankfully I had both of them in my EDC bag because I needed both the center drive and the dual force to fix an emergency brake on a mobility scooter that was defaulting to locked.  I was unsuccessful and will have to bring the scooter to a professional.  I didn't have enough hands to take a picture of the action so here's an older pic of the pair.
