Fixed an itermitent stove element ( used Spirit file to remove crud , bent spring retention clips back into shape ). It also assisted me in a minor repair to a clothes drier . My Alox Soldier opened several tins of cat food .

Punched a hole in my Capri Sun juice pouch and cut a flap off a Pepsi box.  Neither very big, but DAAAANG life is much simpler when you have a blade on you.

Gerber 600 was the choice today for ease of plier head extraction.  Amateur Radio activities saw
wires fed into a tuner and the file was used to grind down a contact on a Morse Code key.  Worked
well.  :tu:

Actually a list of things I did over the last couple days since I haven't been able to get on here:

Tore apart and fixed a computer for a friend's Mom.

Stripped down my Girlfriend's old computer and swapped some of the parts into the new one I built her.

Took care of a couple loose cabinets in the kitchen that have been driving me nuts.

Tore down and re-assembled the vacuum cleaner.

Tightened an annoying loose shifter on a friend's car (it was bugging the crap outta me from the passenger seat so I fixed it when they were pumping gas lol)

Took apart a friend's old bed frame.

Cut open and broke down some boxes from IKEA.

Built a new bed frame that was in those boxes.

Cut my fingernails.

Everything was done with my Swisstool X. Performed every job perfectly. On the bed frame projects I kinda found myself wishing I had the plus kit though. May have to hit up Tim for one of those one of these days. Also, while building the new frame, we had to torque the screwdriver really damn hard seeing as the holes were all drilled a bit too small. Even turning the thing so hard it hurt, the driver never really slipped, even when she was using it and she has slightly arthritic hands. On one of the computer projects I had to use the pliers for some small work, and surprisingly the stubby plier head worked a lot better than I would have expected for the task. I'd say the Swisstool has proven itself pretty well the last couple days

Yep. And I've gotten a few positive comments about it too. A lot more than I've ever gotten about any of my Leathermans  ;) What can I say, sheeple love the Swiss  :D

Re-affixed my front license plate that was falling off. One of the screws had decided it was time to head off on it's own apparently. Not a big task, but hey, Swisstool to the rescue once again.

Not actually today, but last Wednesday used a PST to swap some fuses about in the car, as the heating / AC blowers had stopped working on the way to a foorball match and we couldn't see where we were going. I did try with the Swisstool that lives under the dash, right by the fusebox, but the pliers were too fat to get in between the rows of fuses!

It was dark and wet and cold, so I was grateful for the PST in my laptop bag as I'd left it in there having rushed from work, otherwise we may still be on that car park now!
I used to come here a lot.

Used the blade on one of my Wenger Rangers to cut some plastic to cover my passenger side front window of my care that was broken into! >:(

Personally, I want to use that same blade for when I find that thief!  So I can strangle him with his own intestines!!!!!

Tightened up some loose screws on the kitchen table. As usual, ST-X. Man I love this thing. Even if it is quickly developing an alarming amount of pliers play...

Alox Rambler to remove an old hard drive and replace it with a new hard drive (Laptop).  Magnetic tip is a thing of beauty (But be careful in a computer with it!)

Well,

I managed to replace the power supply in my main computer w/ a Leatherman Squirt!
Took about an hour....w/ "real tools" it probably would have taken a little less!

I'm pretty sure you cheated Benner. Or I'm going out of my damn mind. Which wouldn't surprise me in the least at this point.

Used the wire cutters on my Spirit to cut a clothing tag and the scissors to cut a first aid bandage down to size for my Daughts finger which she hurt while skating .

My now ubiquitous Swisstool X repaired a ceiling fan, opened a bag of bird seed, and sliced me some cheese.
