Amazing what you can do with video trickery. The Skeletool was clearly the best ;)

Myself, in the wee small hours of this morning used the file on my TTi to sort out the cutters on a PST that I was servicing. I'd tried with a Core first, but the file was too big to reach into the little recesses, the TTi worked perfectly.

I actually serviced two PSTs last night in fact, and got great results from both. One is part of a trade I'm working on, the other (with the new reprofiled cutters) is likely to become a user, although I'm running out of places to stash them

PST count as of 31st January 2010: 26 (ish)  :P
I used to come here a lot.

Does opening a bottle of beer for a friend with my Skeletool count? :D

No need to open the tool to get to it, beer served in under a second :drink:

We have some really large trees on our property, some of which have some really large ivy growing up them. Eventually this will kill the trees. So while I was putzing around I took out my Swisstool and used the saw to cut through the vines. To give you an idea, the one section of ivy I cut was 1 3/4 inches in diameter.

Adjusted the BISS (Base Idle Set Screw) on a friend's Eclipse. Swisstool got it's daily use, and her car no longer tries to die at idle  :tu:

Both my Vic Pioneer and Spirit got quite a workout today , I was working in a very confined space , couldn't fit by fat body and very many tools . My little Swiss friends saved me several trips down the ladder .

Used the tip of a 74mm blade to dig the flippin' annoying splinter out of my finger whilst observing the procedure through the magnifier of an old Champion propped up on the edge of the kitchen worktop.

I can think of more fun things to be doing with both.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Today, I used a Vic Spirit awl to make a hole in plasterboard, then hammer in a raw plug  :P and insert a screw,

On that screw, I hung my 20th Anniversary Leatherman Wave in it's lovely display case.

Then, I held the Spirit up to the case so it could see the way the Leatherman gets the nice foam bed, while it was covered in plaster dust and had a headache, before tossing it back in the drawer.

It sucks to be a Vic in this house I tell ya :D

Today I got the "honor" of driving the plow truck (salting highway). They are loud, bumpy and handle like a box of rocks.

So today I had crud all over my windows, reaching down for the window washer knob I noticed that it was MISSING :ahhh

So while driving down the road in a snow I had to get my ST300 out and turn the stubby little post sticking out of the dash.

Used my Leatherman to remove an access panel on a network printer to fiddle with the network card found therein. The Phillips on the knifeless Fuse works like a charm on several sizes. It was a pleasure to use the tool for one of the reasons why I carry it around.
A little Leatherman information.

I used my Skeletool to cut back some bamboo the snow had pulled down.

The good pruners are in the shed behind 31" of snow, and my back hurts.
