Yesterday I contacted Leatherman to ask when this tool was going to actually come onto the market. I also asked if it was going to initially be exclusive to any particular dealer, or available to all dealers.

The response I got was:

REI has exclusive rights until July. My brother was just in leatherman store in Portland trying to pick a couple up early this week.
