After doing a group photo of my SAKs, I thought it would be cool to get a group shop of my other folding knives. I didn't realize I had so much until I got it together from around the house, etc.  :o

I have that black/blue one as well- you also got the $10 Carolina Knife and Tool knife and multitool combo set from Canadian Tire?  :D

How old is that Gerber EAB?  If it's pre-recall you have yourself a heck of a collectible there- just don't use it or risk the use of your fingers!

Yep, bought them for the MT. The knife was a sort of extra.

No, the EAB is post. That is my prime box cutter. I would hate to slice and dice my fingers.

Odd, I have met very few people who are fans of sliced fingers... :D

While that Carolina multitool and knife may be one step above garbage, you have to admit the color is pretty darned nice!  It makes a nice change from all the brushed stainless, satin finishes and black oxide that makes up the rest of the collection.

It is colourful. Not so sure it is one step above garbage though. You might be overly generous on that one.  :D

Well I have yet to throw it out... :P

I have a bit of a soft spot for the odd cheapie, and I have found a few that weren't really all that bad, including one with a wrench kind of implement that I wish a higher quality manufacturer would adopt.

Which set was it, the blister/cardboard pack or the wood box set? I bought the wood box set and returned it the next day. Let's see, MT tools are nailbreaker to get out, knife liner lock is too long and doesn't engage half of the time, degree sticker on compass is off by some degrees (compare to the engraving on rotor), and the flashlight was so anemic I had to look at the bulb to make sure it's on. I wrote a review on CT website calling it "Piece of you know what" but never got posted.  :D

I don't recall other then it came with an equally colourful MT. I am tempted to say blister pack with no compass.

Grant, I say that because I bought a few more Canadian Tire specials, and the knifes all surpass this one in quality. You are right though, it isn't all that bad.
