Is it a Buck challenge or a 110 challenge? Dougie is going to send me a 285 which might arrive by the end of the month.

Originally we were thinking of a Buck 110 challenge. Because MTo members opined that it was difficult to EDC a Buck 110. But I like the idea of a general Buck challenge, and would welcome Buck enthusiasts of all sorts.

Let's call it the.....

If the original idea was 110 then I think it should stay 110.   :tu:   I will keep an eye out for one locally.

I like being inclusive, but a Buck 110 Badge would be wicked cool.....

My mother was going through our old safe and found this Buck 111 in the back. I hadn't even seen this model before. Seems like a light weight and beautified 110. One pic shows it with two 110s, a Selector, and newer folding Buck.
Still love the 110s though. :)

Thank you, Mechanickal, ThePeacent, and Nix!
My mother gave it to me and found the receipt for when it was purchased in 1980 from a local hardware store.
The place where it can be engraved on the handle is blank, so the onlt question is; to have it engraved or not to have it engraved?  :D

Who bought it?
Your dad?

I'd have his name engraved then if I were you.
Hoping that you have/had an excellent relationship with your dad...

Why?
It's not like a piece like that should ever be sold. It's a family piece!
Let future generations know where it began.

I am close with my Father and thankful for it. He did buy it and my parents divorced a long time ago. We think our last name on it would be great. So that is most likely what we'll have done. :)
No worries on selling it, as I am highly sentimental.

OK, Buck 110 fans, I started a Buck 110 challenge thread for a first-ever 30-day 110 challenge:

Fools of April Buck 110 Challenge

I'm hoping some of you will help demonstrate how this "Old School" knife still has a few lessons to teach.  :tu:
