I have been looking at these Bucks since I saw the one Ben got from GG (I think) the wooden handle & bolsters looked so classy , I am not sure what model Ben's was  . Not sure if I should go with the 110 or a larger similar style Buck  .
Plenty of time to think about it while the ol finances recover from Christmas  ::) :D :D

I'm not even sure what model that is.  :D
I'm back!!

First one seen by some.

I'm starting to become more and more a fan of the 110's within the last few weeks.  It's fun to see the
changes sometimes many withing a paticular year and also challenging to date them which I'm starting
to get a handle on.
You can pick them up very cheaply on ebay and right now there are lots.  :)

I would still love to get one of those s30v ones, but they are so dang heavy!

Some guys EDC the 110 in a back pocket, upright next to a wallet.

I back pocket EDCed a 110 years ago, but it's really too heavy for me nowdays.  Especially considering all the alternatives offering equal capability at half the weight.

Believe it or not, some people prefer to EDC a heavier knife just for the pleasure of its heftier feel in the hand.  And of course some people prefer the 110 for its traditional look.

The 3-inch bladed version (either 112 or 120) is a good alternative for EDC, weighing in at a couple of ounces less.  Just over 5 ounces, IIRC.

I picked up a 112 last week. I'm glad I didn't go for the 110, this one is plenty beefy enough. It's really a great knife, I've been EDCing it with my Spirit or Core.  It won't replace my OHT for woods use though, that's just too good to be beat.

Glad you like it.  :tu:
I've been on a bit of a buying spree and as well a learning curve with some
of the older one's out there kicking about and do have a 112 bucklite coming as well as a '69 and
a '70-72 110.  I am looking for a 63-64 110 but they are very rare and quite expensive when they
do pop up.

Miss my old 112 - what a great knife it was.  Felt sturdier in my hand than the 110.  Carried better in the back pocket too, being a little shorter and a couple ounces lighter.

I've had a 110 for a couple of years. Nice classic knife over all. It does feel nice in the hand. It's a little heavier than I like for the pocket but in the sheath you don't notice it. I carry it from time to time and love it when I do.

Nice!  I have a few coming in from ebay.  Until recently I didn't really enjoy carrying them around but that has changed and
there is quite a few vintage one's out there.

I do!  It is a great knife, no doubt....

but I have to admit to loving my Schrade LB7 a bit more!

That is a nice Schrade.  I had one of the Delrin scaled units.  Do you have a pic of your 110?

I'm not sure.  I always thought it was a cross...?

I couldn't really see it in the pic, if it's a cross then probably a '91

I have to say, I'm quite taken with it.

I didn't really have much idea of what a 110 was - only what I'd read on here. Because I am what Ben would call a tart (;)) I've just Brasso'd it up a bit too, and will be off looking for things to cut up in a moment :tu:
