I know there are one or two on here who have airguns. I make a living from selling them, but I love shooting them too. Here's mine..

It's a Daystate. It's pretty hard to get the necessary certificate for a firearm here in the UK.

I used to have a Sheridan pellet rifle, but the stepfather took it back when my parents got a divorce. :twak:

The Weihrauch HW77 is heavy, but brilliant  :) Last you a lifetime or two. Same goes for the HW80.  That's underlever and breakbarrel types covered. I wouldn't touch the current Webleys. Some of the Gamos are ok, but if you can stand the 10lb weight, my faves are the two HW's mate. Old school but so good.
PCP's can be a bit soulless but that Daystate is an interesting rifle. It has a small amount of recoil on firing, unlike other PCP's which can have a bit of muzzle flip. It also does a stupid number of shots (160) to a fill.

It's technically not an "air rifle" since it's a spring that shoots it but here's my BB gun. I've had it since I was 6 or so. As you can tell it's been through hell. It still shoots though.

Nice enough, but the breech/barrel pivot is poorly designed leading to wear over time that cannot be adjusted out, unlike the HW80. This in turn leads to inevitable accuracy problems. Weirauch are highly rated for good reason. Too many reliability problems with the current Webleys. The Chinese made XS19 is a better gun in every way  :o

Well, there have been big price increases this year... so a new one will set you back a bit over £300.00. But there should be quite a few used ones about at quite a bit less. There is a carbine version. There is also a carbine HW77 which is very, very nice  Especially in .177 cal.

That's a bit more than I'd like to pay :-\

But I suppose if there reliable enough they'd be a sound used buy :)

If this had iron sights it'd be perfect i think :)  http://www.bsaguns.co.uk/sgun_lightning.php

As far as rifles are concerned I've got a HW77 in .177, that I bought when I was about 16, and two Webleys from before production went overseas, a .177 Omega and a .22 Eclipse. Also a .177 Webley Nemesis pistol.

The Lightning is alright. Pretty crude trigger though, and that breech pivot  :bnghd:
Silencer has a habit of coming loose too. I'm sorry mate, just being brutally honest.

You lose the open sights on the 95. But the 95 is extremely good. Just need a scope to go with it.

Not fussed about scopes, as I prefer to shoot over open sights (yes I'm odd :D) :)

Anyone know anything about the HW 99S ???

It's excellent. Like MB says, it's heavy compared with most other guns. But the extra mass makes it harder to move off target so it's steadier on aim and it recoils less. If you didn't want open sights you could also consider the HW97 it's similar to a '77 but has a silencer instead of opens and a stock designed for use with a scope.

The TX200 from Air Arms is similar to the '77 and highly rated by a lot of people (and British) but I've never used one.
