It doesn't bother me as much as it did, so I think it is something you get used to. I just fancy some shaped grips like on the HW45 Silver Star that Magic Bus mentioned :)

(Image removed from quote.)
They really look comfie don't they :tu:

Can't believe I missed this thread.

Well at the risk of resurrecting a slightly past due date thread...

I have a .22 cal Benjamin Classic 22 break barrel pellet rifle. I love the3-9x40mm scope with red/green illuminated reticle that it came with. Once I am sighted in, the gun is super accurate and I can get very tight groups.

Here in Canada, the cut off point for needing a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) is 500 feet per second. The one I have is rated at 495.
A little Leatherman information.

Here is a 3 photo panoramic of the air rifle. I couldn't get the perspective and the right distance that I wanted on the first shot.

EDIT: LoL...well...so much for that I guess. Looks like Photobucket converted it into 800x whatever. At least I tried.

I'm always happy to help dig up the corpse of a long dead thread....

My Sharp Innova .177

2 or 3 pumps and I can shoot it in the hallway at home... 10 pumps and it's a 1000fps "Verminator".

Ok, here is my BB gear.

A Colt Defender. This one does not feature a blowback operation.

A Walther CP99 Compact.

A Winchester Model 11.

Next up is a Umarex Morph 3X. You can use it as a pistol, with a longer barrel and forstock, and as a complete rifle with shoulder stock.

And last, a Umarex Steel Storm. This thing is a bit scary as you can send burst of 6 BBs downrange with a single pull of the trigger. I have a N-Star Green laser dot sight on it activated via pressure trigger.

That looks fun, too bad they had to neuter it to comply with our stupid laws.

I found this today in the closet, so many nice and expensive ones, thought I'd post one from the other end of the spectrum.  :D

My old crosman 781, can spit out BB's at whopping 340 fps, and .177 pellets at terrorizing 290 fps, best I can do with it at 10 yards is somewhere around 4 inches.  ::) Thought about throwing it away but it's a shame to chuck a perfectly working toy (okay not perfectly, more like barely working).

In the process of getting my PAL at the moment. I have bought the safety book for 15 bucks. I have read it once over and it is a real sandman reader. Sometime next week, I hope to write the test. My goal is to get my PAL sometime this month.

Right now the processing time is probably 4+ month, so take your time, you'll have plenty of wait time either way.

So I take you plan to challenge the test instead of the class?

Yep, it was never quick and right now everybody is sending in their app hoping to get it before hunting season.

The written test is pretty easy, hands on portion isn't hard as long as you are familiar with the action types and remember to do your ACTS and PROVE (PROVE it immediately after you pick it up, don't wait for them to ask you). Also never put your finger inside the trigger guard, for the purpose of the test they'll never ask you to do anything that requires it.

I wasn't in much of a hurry. Not wanting a PAL for hunting anyways. Thinking more along the lines of target shooting at a local gun club.

Thanks for the pointers.  :salute: :)
