OK so I like SAKs that aren't red.  It's not that I don't like red it's just that sometimes it's nice to have something different.  A couple of shots of my pair of white SAKs, as it happen they make for a rather nice tool combo as well.

So what are your favourite colours, other than red?  Pics would be nice.  :)

The white scales are very nice aren't they.  :)  I do find they get grotty looking quite easily though.

I also have a soft spot for the green scales.
I'm back!!

Black, like my black, black heart.  :)

Those white scaled SAKs look really nice mate.  I've been after getting myself a few for a while.  Other things, like too many torches :D, have gotten in the way.  Kudos for the picture as well; good use of light and darkness.

Gareth,

I am the same way, I have gotten to disliking Red cellidor scaled SAK's. I own a few but when I'm hunting for new ones I try to get those not in Red. I do like the Red translucent scales and Red Alox.....it's just the red cellidor that I have really begun to dislike.

My SAK collection pretty much runs the gamut.....though I don't have any Yellow yet. Blues, Black, Greens, Silver, Copper, and some oddballs are in there. Even have a single white scaled Vic too. Need some more though.

hmmm...I think I predominantly have red...although I do have a small variety of colours.

I agree, the reds do get boring. I don't really have a colour preference however.

Mind you, I am very partial to the scream out loud quick look at me fluorescent yellow that my Rescue tool sports. Now that is an eye catcher.

Nice collection 2xTap

Those whites look real good.

I've never seen a white one before and would buy one if I did  :gimme: The red is an iconic image and I never get bored with it.......but sometimes I get the blues:

I have a nice Onyx Explorer Plus, of which I'm fond. :)  It'd be perfect if the small blade was replaced with a nail file/cleaner a la the 84mm Cadet, but in 91mm size. -_-

Here is a couple of shots of the translucent red scales.  Until I got a set (thanks again Neil) I never gave them much of a look, I really don't think a computer screen does them any justice whatsoever.  The deep ruby red looks great in person.

Only trouble with the black one's is the fact that they look tatty quite quickly :-\

At least that's my experience :-\

While I have nothing against the black, they do look cool, they are the colour that I feel show marks the most (YMMV).  It really seems like I can't put a black SAK in my pocket without putting a scratch on it that I feel I have to polish out.  So the black only comes out on very special occasions.  8)

The only translucent ones that I have are a red (sorry ;)) Wenger Highlander, and a Victorinox blue sapphire SwissChamp. I also have a silvertech...but that is a little different.

I had to angle the lighting to the side quite a bit to get a bit of sparkle in them.

A couple more.  First has to be my personal favourite; the green.  I've posted this pic somewhere else before but what the heck.  I had real trouble getting a shot of these without them just looking black.  :)

Did someone say blue?  while I really like the solid blue and the blue alox, I'm a lot less enamoured of the translucent blue.  The colour is a little to 'thin' if you know what I mean, could of done with being a shade or two darker IMO.

Keep your pics coming.   :tu:

Look awesome mate :tu:

I've been meaning to get myself one of these for a while.  Dropped it in a favour if getting myself a swissbianco PE soldier though :).  They do look fantastic don't they.  I've got a small tritium marker on my EDC SAK so I can see it in the dark.

I've got a few non-red SAKs, but I need more.  Where can you get those excellent dark green scales from; they look great?

Sorry to say that the onyx has always left me cold.  It just looks faded to my eye.  :-\  I do need to get hold of some more stayglows though, I put a set on a Mechanic for my Dad and really liked them (thankfully so did he  :D).

The thing with the sapphire is that there are actually two distinct shades out there.  One is a lovely dark blue whilst the other is lighter and doesn't in my opinion look as nice. There are actually two different shades of onyx as well, just to mix things up :)
