i have just been looking on you tube and there is a post on there about a secret pin hole in the sak range i looked at my model (a tinker) and yup its there on the side wall of the plastic casing next to the corkscrew a small hole where you can put a straight pin or a sewing needle. does any one else have this hole on there models??heavy handed

They just kinda forgot to tell anyone. I think a sewing needle would get lost down there but I haven't tried myself, a big tailors pin seems to be what it's meant for. Cool when you find an extra feature you didn't know about isn't it?
Cool, what stops it from sliding down out of sight though?

I took a sewing needle, bent the end to around 70° and it fits perfectly to the slope of scale and doesn't fall in/out (you need to soften the needle with a lighter first or it'll snap).
