I picked up a Vic Handyman off of Ebay with the Stayglow scales.  I was looking for a good EDC to compliment a Tactical Folder. (Strider)

I initially bought a Swisschamp XLT, it is way to big to realistically carry daily, hence the term EDC.  Then I bought a Cybertool 29 and a climber.  They are both nice but lack pliers, gotta have pliers.  I have a CT 34 on the way, havent got it yet.

But the Handyman has it all.  2 blades, can opener, bottleopener, 2 flatheads, phillips, saw, file, pliers, scissors, chisel, awe, multi purpose hook, toothpick and tweezers.

The deal sealer is the size, it is only 1"/2.5 cm thick!  Totally comfortable to carry!

Its a shame I found my SAK, I wass looking foward to buyinng them all!  :gimme:

It's a good one alright.  I'm not such a fan of the pliers and I prefer having the phillips and magnifier so I always ended up carrying my Champion or Swiss Champ.  In the end I carried the Handyman so little I ended up trading it away.  Still a great SAK though, just not the one for me.

I need a phillips too which is why I carry the Craftsman - exactly the same but no corkscrew. That is pretty much perfect for me, or if I was to forgo the iddy biddy pliers it would be a Ranger with the corkscrew swapped out for a phillips... I think I'll be doing that mod rather soon actually, and then give it some lovely wooden scales and it will jolly nice to have in ones pocket :D

I think that's a Master Craftsman/ Astronaut/ Space Shuttle. Discontinued now, sadly :( A wooden handled version sounds good though :)

It is a nice one! Now all it needs is some plus scales so you can add a Pen!
