Frankly, I suspect not. The Express (daily newspaper where this story came from) hasn't got a fine reputation of in-depth journalism IMO. More often they print the first thing they hear and then print a tiny retraction and apology weeks later on page 18. Apologies to anyone out there who reads the Express, but I have an equally low opinion of most newspaper journalism.
I don't buy newspapers. If someone is sat in front of me reading one at work or on a train/ bus, more often than not the headlines make me cringe.Can't believe people buy this crap.My wife occaisionally buys one of the more 'sensible' Sunday papers with a ton of extras/cds dvds in it though. When she's read it - it goes in the recycle bin.
