Very cool mate.  it's one of the questions that keeps getting asked; "how do I change the scales on my SAK"?  Well I think you've answered it very well with just a few pictures. :salute:

Would it be out of place to make this a sticky?  Then whenever I'm asked I can easily link back to the site.

Thanks for the cool how-to. You inspired me to put on some scales i had. I put mine on most the way by hand and finished with some small Channel Locks and a rag. I put sapphire plus scales on my Handyman and stayglos on my Spartan. Oh and nice touch using a Leatherman to fix a SAk.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Thanks for the how to. I ran into a small problem with my side lock Adventurer.
There is a very small,  v shaped spring in the lock,  that rest in the scale. Beware, that rascal is hard to find if you drop it. Once the spring was found it was a snap to do. I now have shiny new scales on my Adventurer, and some  blue sapphire scales on my Champion.  I used a small hobby vise to press the scales on.
Thanks again :D
