WOOHOO!!!!! Football is back!!!!

The NFL preseason started last night. Of course they had the NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony this weekend. Derrick Thomas, Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, Ralph Wilson Jr., Bruce Smith and Rod Woodson are now now officially enshrined forever.

I love football, which I reckon to most of you is called American football. My favorite team(Kansas City Chiefs) is probably not gonna be much of a threat this year but at least they fired Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards. Maybe we can start rebuilding back into a respectable franchise.

So any predictions on who's gonna win it all this year?

I'm a Bears fan, and we got Cutler, we've never had a really good QB so no matter what happens
that shock will cover up the losses we get

This is the first year ever with no QB controversy for Bears Pre-Season, that's ain't right

I really like American football. The only downside is the time difference, Monday night football starts 3 am in the morning and that’s no fun when I have too wakeup 6 am. When I was unemployed couple of years ago I had the time to follow the season but not anymore.

I also don’t have all the rules down either and the ones that I know I have picked up watching games, all the different formations  and tactics I don’t really get either since there is no one that can explain it too me.

I know I should be cheering for Minnesota Vikings but my team is Green Bay Packers.

I don't pay much attention to Pre-Season play, though I am glad it has kicked off as that means regular Season is just around the corner.

Like every year......I have high hopes for my boys from Indy. Though I have a feeling with the new faces on board and a new head coach things ain't going to run as smooth this Season as I would like. It will be interesting to see how Jim Caldwell handles himself and the team as Head Coach, and I am anticipating big things from Gonzales now that he is taking over Marvin Harrison's slot. Though I was glad to hear Moore and Mudd were back on doing their thing with the Offense. My biggest worries right now are the fact that both Adam Vinatieri and Bob Sanders are still hurt. They are both riding the PUP but Caldwell is saying they are both soon to be back......I hope!

And Addai better get his act together.....if he starts this year like last year they better bench him and throw Hart or Ball in there. MOF I'm looking forward to seeing what ther new boy Brown can do.

Even though i like off brand sports (cycling, swimming, cyclecross, and such) i plan to go to a Houston Texans game this year. I can get into it if i'm actually there. Same with Nascar, baseball, and stripclubs.

I have to say I have never seen so many teams that are contenders or have to prove something.
So many good teams that could take it all or be really good (or better) this year, I'm giddy!

You know the Lions will be better
The NFC North could be a good division again!

and as long as Dallas goes away (as in not being top headlines when they suck),
this will be the best football year in a long time for me

I'll secretly be rooting for the Chiefs this year because of Cassell.  I want to see him do better than Brady so the Pats regret letting him go.  Brady has gotten too big for himself.

i'm glad football is right around the corner. i like college football slightly better b/c it's unpredictable but, the one thing that is atomatic is florida. i preedict another NCAA championship against oklahoma. i'm likin' georgia tech for the ACC and i can't waite to see alabama play VT.
the patts look good only b/c brad is back but that may not be enough.
somebody is gonna pick up on Vic and buy a couple of wins.  this is soo cool
