Mailman was good to me today.  Black handled one is rough but the rest are nice. :D .

You can't complain at that for a days haul  :tu:

Will the Speciality Mechanic (or whatever we all decided to call it) clean up OK?  :-\

Blade on that Spartan looks like it could be useful ;)
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I really like the mechanic - it's wonderfully simple and useful  :)

The scale is cracked and the blade could use some attention.   I suppose somebody thats into sak restoring might be able to save it. That means somebody other than me. 8)

Spartan blade .  Hmmm  . Maybe I could think of a use for it somewhere ;)

Is it the TechLine side that's cracked or the back?

That's a very nice parcel to get. :tu:  I've always fancied doing one of those 'black-Radioshack-Techline-Compact-Mechanics'* as a mod.

That special mechanic is one of my favorite SAKs.

I have a couple of them, and I received at least one of them NIB with plain red celidor plus scales, not the black logo Techline scales(!)

That is unusual, I'd always assumed they were a Radioshack special.  I don't suppose the box had a code?  I don't think this model has made it into the wiki yet.

I'll have to look at home, but I sort of doubt whether I kept it with the box, so don't expect it.

Unless I'm being daft, it doesn't appear to be in the wiki so a nice photo for the cause would be great if you get the chance  :tu:

I have been looking for a techline radio shack knife forever.  I really like that setup, seems it would be very useful.  Kinda like a compact, but on steroids.  Theres a name juiced compact.
