Now I'm gonna have to carry him today, which will make my Vic Farmer mad because he thought he was gonna go out today. Please be careful what you say, knives have feelings. And yes, I DID get hit in the head yesterday, why do you ask? Please hold your Meadowlark up to the screen so it can read this: I'm sorry, dear little Meadowlark. That was a horribly insensitive thing to say. You are perfect just the way you are and you shouldn't pay attention to this kind of stuff. Now hold your Farmer up to the screen: Give Meadowlark a break and remember you have to share.Hope this helps.

the byrd line is ugly
I just called to all the stores in my area and 80% still had at least one in stock.
No offense to Spyderco but I agree, the byrd line is ugly.Gray

Many are downright ugly, to my eyes..

yep........ i like that native. most of the spiders look kinda homely to me too. but they are growing on me. i dropped by a wally world in jerkwater USA this morning and all they had that was discontinued were some gerber MTs. i'm enjoyng the hunt.

Great ergonomics, superbly functional, one of the best EDC knives ever IMO.In addition, Native is actually a very attractive knife which is unusual for Spyderco. At less than $40, the Walmart version Native was an amazing "bang for your buck" knife.I could kick myself for not grabbing one while Walmart was still selling them..
I think Graysons is an Atlantic Salt.
Quote from: Zack on July 23, 2009, 04:37:48 AMI think Graysons is an Atlantic Salt.Hi guys! Nope, Grayson's is a Saver Salt...a bit smaller than the Atlantic. Thanks for the compliment!
after many hours of review and thought i finally settled on a delica. believe me i was back and forth over the delica and the salt 1 and at one point had both of them in the cart on several occassions. i hope i get the one that i think ordered... a delica3. that is exactly what i want. the pic and specs indicate a D3 but the model # showed a combo D4 in spyderspeak. as long as it's a PE i'll be happy. if not i'll return it for a salt 1.i'm still very interested in the centafonte3 and the salt saver (graysonK's avatar is so cool), though i did not want a SE blade.
it looks like the edge is cut into the steel and you can see tiny serrations with the naked eye. i gives the feeling that it will hold that edge for quite some time to come. the angle of the edge looks much steeper than i am use to though.
Good to hear you're happy with it. Do you know if you got the D3 or D4 in the end?
