Including the baseplate and adhesive strip, how tall does the clip protrude from tool surface?
Dang that's a lot of bulk, especially if it's not clipped.
Looks great. Let us know how well you like it after some pocket time.

You might already have noticed that my english ist not the best. Do you mean with "clip-draw system" the system which is used an the charge where the clip may be taken off the tool without opening any screws? If its that, you are completely right. Its not possible to construct such a system the way i mentioned above.I dont think that the clip is needed to be taken off often, though. Thats why i prefer the simpler screw-on solution. If this doesnt answer your question, please explain it a bit more in detail.

It's on a CS4 and the clip is on the scale with the saw. In hand, it doesn't seem to be a problem, and of course the clip part is outside the pocket. I'll try it out for a week and see what I think

I see what your saying about taking the base plate over the rivet but I can't see how that can work with the ClipDraw system due to the screws holding the base and clip together What have I missed?
aw, i didn`t get it, what Mr.wippy actually did. I thought he made the clip imself and didnt get the fact it was just an adhesive clip.I have to read more carefully next time.

I think I do agree though that pocket clips in general should ride higher so the tools can sink a little lower

The 2 best clips I have come across are that on the Leatherman Wave and Charge and the one on the SOG Flash series. Both are real discrete and keep a lot of the tool deeper in the pocket.
