Found this one on the big auction site a few weeks ago for around the cost of a new Mora Companion, and finally decided to order it tonight.
I knew Fiskars did Puukkos, and they can often be expensive. Fiskars made a ton of fillet knives under the Normark name for export to the US, but this doesn't appear to be one, as the blade type seems ill-suited for that, but the seller's photos were awkward and did nothing to show thickness of the blade. The seller just called it a "Fiskars Knife". Fiskars does make a line of fixed blades really similar to the Mora, but they aren't sold in the US.
I think it's from the '60s, but am not really sure. Appears to have about a five-inch blade. I really like the sheath design. Should work out in the woods and farm really well.
When I get it in, should I sharpen the edge like I would a Mora (as in, this is a Scandi-grind)?
