Wow. I got my lost Super Tool 200 in the mail today!

As some of you know, I had a long overdue Super Tool 200 on its way from eBay. Well it came in today. I was almost 100% certain that it was stolen. I was wrong.

Instead, it got stomped on, dipped in oil, ripped apart, and generally scuffed and dinged. On top of that, it must have spent a few days at various places to get its lessons taught to it.

Overall, the package was in a very bad shape. It came in a clear wrapped bag with the USPS apology statement that said..."We abused your package, and we are sorry. Due to the high volume, this will happen even though we work hard and preventing such incidents".

The best part though came after I opened the package to find the contents not damaged! Looking at the box, I had no hope. I figured ok, at least it wasn't stolen, being a little over a month overdue.

So I am very happy. I don't have to get another Super Tool 200 for the collections.

You can see the WE CARE bag the parcel was in on the left. The box itself was lacerated multiple times and re-taped. There was oil everywhere, even coating the inside of the box in places.

And here are the contents, one Super Tool 200 in Schrade sheath as per the eBay listing, and a weird folding knife as a bonus I guess?

I strongly suspect that a USPS worker saw the package mangled, took the time to clean the inside goods somewhat, and packaged the parcel in their WE CARE bag. Whoever it was even left me a box cutter of odd design.

I've received some damaged packages in the mail before but that package is really bad. I wonder what happened to it?

You know, if it wasn't for the body of the knife, I'd say it's an AG Russel Fruit Testing Knife, as seen http://www.agrussell.com/ag-russell-fruit-testing-knife/p/RUShhh525BR/. I know it isn't, but it definitely reminded me of it.

That packaging looks like it's been stuck in some kind of sorting machinery at a guess. At least the tool's in good condition. I'm glad it finally turned up.

Sorry. I had a great day on my Birthday yesterday. A bunch of us went to St. Joe's Island. Then took a 22 foot bow rider for a day of cruising the waterways. I got home late last night dead tired with too much fresh air, and walking. Pics will follow soon I promise as I just got up refreshed and ready to get some done. I just couldn't resist posting the package condition lol.

I received a very bad sunburn on the face though from all the reflected light off the water. Well worth the outing though.

I'm amazed you got the ST200 looking at that package

There are quite a few SAKesque knives come from Richardz and the quality is good. That particular knife looks identical to the Pierre Cardin ones I totally failed to snag off ebay.co.uk back in the day when you could.

You might like to pop a bid on this one that's up at the moment. I would (again, if I could)

The cattle belong to my friend’s father in law. He is the one with his back turned in the one photograph. Real nice guy. It was his boat we were going about in.
