'Cause it seems if you have a Glob, you may not need anything else


For cripe's sake, this old tool has about a bazillion different features on it!


Hammer mode:

The hammer head doubles as a nail puller:


Or maybe even a pry bar tool:


The two halves pivot against one another, allowing for a strong plier mechanism:


...and a shears/soft wire cutter section:


...and a set of hard wire cutters too. For livestock fencing I suppose:


The two haves of the Glob are made to easily seperate:

 
There are wrenches aplenty on this tool:

Even square wrenches. Am I correct in remembering that lots of old farming equipment used with square headed bolts?
Those and the thread cutting dies are features you don't find on many modern day multitools.

I love cutting and machining as much as a monkey loves throwing poop, but I'm trying to imagine the day-to-day instances that would be made easier by having a tape & die set on me....and there's not many.

I LOVE it.   having thread dies is just the icing on the cake IMO.

I have an electrical multitool plier thing that has bolt cutters and 3 sizes of thread dies on it. (Besides the various sized strippers, and various types of connector crimps.)
Works pretty well.
