Okay, it's almost 2 am here, I was asleep until SWMBO decided to kick the hell out of me and now I'm awake.  Darnit!  She didn't mean to, but...arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

After doing my time at the VA hospital, I have become an expert sleeper--can even sleep standing up if there's a wall or door jamb to lean against.

I think there's a component of self hypnosis involved with it.

I have never had issues with sleeping. Much like Mr. Whippy, if the need arises, I can sleep standing up.

I have a horrible time sleeping and when she's restless it's just worse.  Plus, right now my knee is killing me...I can't find a comfy position.  It sucks!  I don't sleep well anyway.  I work 12 hr night shifts and I still can't sleep well.  It sucks.  The one and only time I ever tried a sleeping aid (prescribed by doc) it wasn't pretty.  Apparently I started talking to people that weren't there and ended up walking out into the hallway of the apartment building as if I was at work.  Stuff is bad!

There's an insomnia thread here we posted lots on a while back... if I wasn't suffering from major sleep deprivation right now, I would search for it 

I think I managed about 3 hours last night and got myself in to bed before I bought a tent which looked alarmingly like a lady's privates

I think I managed about 3 hours last night and got myself in to bed before I bought a tent which looked alarmingly like a lady's privates  

Gives the phrase "Sleep like a baby" a whole new perspective...
