Just got a few small packages in.

One Gold Ingot Classic, a Time Keeper, and a Sterling Silver Hammered Classic.


Now onto the photos...

How much does the Gold Ingot Classic weigh? Is it a thick piece of gold or just a slice?

As written on the certificate card it is 1 gram of 999.99 Gold. It is recessed into the handle and not mounted flush to the surface. Possibly to protect the very malleable metal from too much damage. 1 gram of gold is not that large. It is a conversation piece though. :)

I just realized that the Gold Ingot Classic doesn't have a toothpick. How are you supposed to pick your teeth with 1g of gold? :P

It's funny, at today's prices, 1g of gold is about $30, more that double the price os 1oz of silver in that hammered sterling silver one...
I wonder what was the occasion, if any, for issuing those gold ingot Classics, and how many there were? The cert. number of 193456 implies that there was a sizeable run of those.

I am waiting to get the other 3 silver models in for a group shot.

I am a bit annoyed. I paid for a Tiffany about a week ago only to find out that it is just getting shipped. Why hold it for a week after the sales...I just don't get it.

Was it from eBay and the seller had a woman's name?  If so, that's normal.

I was really annoyed when I found out the first SAK I bought from them didn't get shipped until almost a week after I paid for it.

They sell so many TSA forfeitures, it may take them that long to figure out what gets shipped where.

I've found another seller on there (with similar deals) that I monitor now that is much better, and actually sends you a note when he mails it.
